On Thursday, September 12, Peabody Retirement Community opened its doors to the wider community for our free Hometown Fair—and what an unforgettable evening it was! From 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., our campus was filled with laughter, music, delicious treats, and fun for all ages.
Family Fun for Everyone
Children enjoyed hopping aboard the Peabody Express Fun Train, visiting the friendly animals at the petting zoo, and taking in the magic of horse rides with Equestrian Dreams. Tractor enthusiasts loved the tractor show, which brought a nostalgic hometown charm to the event.
Entertainment and Activities
The highlight of the evening was the lively performance by The Steele Rail Band, whose music set the perfect backdrop for families and friends gathering together. Guests also had the chance to browse and shop with local vendors, making the fair a true celebration of community spirit.
Classic Fair Treats
No fair is complete without great food, and ours did not disappoint! Visitors lined up for classic favorites like hot dogs, popcorn, and cotton candy, adding to the cheerful, festival-like atmosphere.
Thank You to All Who Made It Possible
We are incredibly grateful to our dedicated staff who worked hard behind the scenes to make this event a success. A special thank-you goes out to The Steele Rail Band, Ozenbaugh Farms, Equestrian Dreams, and all of our wonderful vendors who joined us.
