Can you share an uplifting word about Peabody? Leave an inspiring review!

My mom lived a long and healthy life in assisted living until the age of 90, thanks to the great medical care, nutrition, and socialization she received by the staff. She thanked NP Melissa for keeping her alive all those years. 💕

I’ve had the privilege of sharing music there a few times. As I have observed the interactions between residents and staff, it is obvious that staff members care sincerely for the wellbeing and comfort of the residents. They have always made me feel welcome as well. I look forward to going back.

Peabody is a wonderful place. They are caring and show compassion for their residents. My mom lives at Hawthorn Heights and she loves it. Myself and my siblings have no complaints or regrets.

When my parents moved into Peabody, Dad was in the rehab area and Mother went into the memory unit. Dad then moved into assisted living and then into more involved nursing care, so I’ve seen a lot of different departments and the excellent care they offer. I am so pleased with the happiness they found at Peabody! They have made friends with wonderful nurses and neighbors, enjoyed the food, the activities, and general comfort of Peabody. The warmth of each “hello” as I pass Peabody employees in the halls feels genuine. The staff doesn’t hesitate to consider special requests for residents or visitors – they truly want their residents to feel “at home.” The grounds and facilities are attractive and kept in fine condition. I honestly believe that I could not have done better than finding Peabody for my parents!

I began my journey at Peabody Retirement Community in 2002 as a CNA on the dementia unit, and from the very first day, I felt a deep connection with the residents, the facility, and the wonderful staff. The work was fulfilling, and I truly loved what I did. In 2014, I became a nurse and chose to stay at Peabody because it felt like home. For over 8 years, I’ve had the privilege of working in Assisted Living, and not a single day has passed where I didn’t feel like I was making a positive difference in someone’s life. Throughout my time there, I’ve met so many incredible people, and their stories have been a gift. The residents and my colleagues have become like family to me, and I’m forever grateful for the bonds we’ve formed and the meaningful work we do together.

I have worked at Peabody retirement community for 35 years. I started in Dining services, then moved onto Maintenance and to be the Director facility services.. I can honestly say I love my job. At The end of the day when I leave work, I know in my heart I’ve made a difference in someone’s life. Love all the resident and enjoy all my coworkers. It’s like one big family. My mother lives in the memory unit and has been there 2 1/2 years.. I feel safe knowing she’s a Peabody since we cannot take care of her at home. I wouldn’t want any other job.
