Last weekend, residents from Peabody Retirement Community traded their daily routine for a delightful day out at Art’s Country Park in North Manchester, Indiana. The group gathered early around the park’s serene fishing pond, where laughter floated across the water as rods were cast and lines were reeled in under sunny skies.
Between encouraging cheers, shared tips, and the thrill of each catch, it was a day filled with joy, camaraderie, and a splash of friendly competition. After a fresh air-filled morning, the residents mingled by the picnic tables, enjoying a well-deserved lunch and plenty of storytelling—all thanks to the picturesque setting and inviting atmosphere of Art’s Country Park .
